Reflections on my Way Home

I’m sitting in PIT, listening to excited campers trickle in. As they are filling out their registration cards, I find myself begging the Lord to give me an even better group than last week (when I’m not singing “My Old Kentucky Home” and quoting Dale Peterson, that is.)

I feel like I’m being a little selfish.

I never want to ask for a well behaved group at the expense of sharing with hurting students. I want the Lord to give me a group of broken students who desperately need to hear the gospel. I want kids who desperately need a life change. I want a group I can watch develop into a family.

Father, would you rock my world this week?
